Her body was interred in Bancroft, Daviess County, Missouri, at Hill Cemetery.

She married Daniel D. Heath in New York, January 5, 1826. Daniel was born in Massachusetts April 22, 1803.⁽⁹⁾ Daniel died February 9, 1877 in Bancroft, Daviess County, Missouri, at 73 years of age.⁽¹⁰⁾ He died in the home of his daughter, Victoria.

His body was interred in Bancroft, Daviess County, Missouri, at Hill Cemetery.

She married Peter Cromwell Clefford in Stephentown, Rensselaer County, New York, January 4, 1834. Cromwell was born in Rome, Oneida County, New York July 7, 1812.⁽⁴⁴⁾ Cromwell was the son of Christopher Clifford and Waty --?--. Cromwell died December 30, 1893 in Oneida County, New York, at 81 years of age.⁽⁴⁵⁾ His body was interred in Vienna, Oneida County, New York, at Fish Creek Landing Cemetery.⁽⁴⁶⁾

Edwin died November 21, 1888 in Solon, Johnson County, Iowa, at 69 years of age.⁽⁵¹⁾ His body was interred in Solon, Johnson County, Iowa, at Oakland Cemetery.⁽⁵²⁾

He married Martha McClain in Johnson County, Iowa, April 20, 1846. Edwin's mother was opposed to this marriage because of Martha's frail health.

Martha was born in Missouri April 1823.⁽⁵³⁾ Martha died January 6, 1887 in Solon, Johnson County, Iowa, at 63 years of age.⁽⁵⁴⁾ Her body was interred in Solon, Johnson County, Iowa, at Oakland Cemetery.⁽⁵⁵⁾

13. Elizabeth Caroline⁴ Brown (Daniel³, Major Daniel², Daniel¹) was born in Herkimer County, New York October 30, 1824.⁽⁶¹⁾ Caroline died April 12 1907 in Butler County, Iowa, at 82 years of age.

Her body was interred April 14, 1907 in Butler County, Iowa, at Riverside Cemetery.

She married John Miles in Iowa City, Johnson County, Iowa, January 8, 1851.⁽⁶²⁾ John was born in Sheffield, Caledonia County, Vermont November 7, 1827.⁽⁶³⁾ John was the son of Mastain Morrill Miles and Mary Polly Jenness. John died December 27, 1910 in St. Louis, Missouri, at 83 years of age.⁽⁶⁴⁾ He died from pneumonia that developed while recovering from a fractured hip.

His body was interred December 29, 1910 in Shell Rock, Butler County, Iowa, at Riverside Cemetery.⁽⁶⁵⁾

Elizabeth Caroline Brown and John Miles had the following family:

57. Charles Herbert⁵ Miles (Elizabeth Caroline⁴ Brown, Daniel³, Major Daniel², Daniel¹) was born in Bremer County, Iowa July, 31 1854. Charles died 1928 in Warsaw, Benton County, Missouri, at 73 years of age. His body was interred in Warsaw, Benton County, Missouri, at Riverside Cemetery.

He married three times. He married Emma A. Low in Shell Rock, Butler County, Iowa, August 10, 1876.⁽²⁹¹⁾ Lizzie died before 1880 in Iowa.⁽²⁹²⁾ He married Marietta V. Thomas in Vernon County, Missouri, August 1883.⁽²⁹³⁾ Marietta was born in Melugin's Grove, Lee County, Illinois October 6, 1860. Marietta was the daughter of Elijah E. Thomas and Sarah Jane Melugin. Marietta died September 12, 1893 in Moundville, Vernon County, Missouri, at 32 years of age. He married Minnie Terpening in Moundville, Vernon County, Missouri, February 24, 1895.⁽²⁹⁴⁾ Minnie was born in Illinois March 1866.⁽²⁹⁵⁾ Minnie was the daughter of Peter Terpening. Minnie died 1937 in Warsaw, Benton County, Missouri, at 71 years of age. Her body was interred in Warsaw, Benton County, Missouri, at Riverside Cemetery.

• 147 i. Blanch A.⁶ Miles was born in Shell Rock, Butler County, Iowa May 16, 1877.⁽²⁹⁶⁾ Blanch died January 27, 1975 in San Diego, San Diego County, California, at 97 years of age. She married twice. She married Gustavus Brown in Butler County, Iowa, 1896.⁽²⁹⁷⁾ Gustavus was born in Iowa December 1867.⁽²⁹⁸⁾ She married Clyde R. Homan in South Dakota, about 1926. Clyde was born in Pennsylvania May 14, 1887. Clyde died July 29, 1970 in San Diego, San Diego County, California, at 83 years of age.

• 148 ii. Laura Miles was born in Kansas 1879. Laura died 1879 in Kansas, at less than one year of age.⁽²⁹⁹⁾ Mrs. Asa Low, has recently returned to her old home in Lowtown, from Kansas, where she went in the spring. She came overland, and was four weeks on the road. She started with her granddaughter, infant child of the late Mrs. C.H. Miles, but the little one sickened and died on the way. One of her children was also very sick but recovered. It was a hard, sad trip for Mrs. Low.

Herbert Herman Miles was born in Moundville, Vernon County, Missouri January, 1898.⁽³⁰⁴⁾ Herbert died February 12, 1957 in Benton County, Missouri, at 59 years of age.⁽³⁰⁵⁾ He married twice. He married Gertrude --?-- in Missouri, 1920.⁽³⁰⁶⁾ Gertrude was born in Missouri.⁽³⁰⁷⁾ Gertrude died before 1930.⁽³⁰⁸⁾ He married Jewell Hastain in Missouri, 1928.⁽³⁰⁹⁾ Jewell was born in Missouri 1908.⁽³¹⁰⁾

Hannah Caroline Miles was born in Moundville, Vernon County, Missouri March 29, 1909.⁽³¹¹⁾ Hannah died March 7, 1997 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, at 87 years of age.⁽³¹²⁾ Her body was interred in Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana, at Elm Ridge Cemetery.⁽³¹³⁾ She married James Allen Kelly in Versailles, Morgan County, Missouri, September 23, 1931.⁽³¹⁴⁾ James was born in Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma July 19, 1911.⁽³¹⁵⁾ James died January 4, 1975 in Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana, at 63 years of age.⁽³¹⁶⁾ His body was interred in Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana, at Elm Ridge Cemetery.⁽³¹⁷⁾

61. John Monroe⁵ Miles (Elizabeth Caroline⁴ Brown, Daniel³, Major Daniel², Daniel¹) was born in Rice County, Minnesota March, 1863. John died 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, at 70 years of age. His body was interred in Salem, Dent County, Missouri, at Union Cemetery. According to family stories, John was cremated and his ashes were spread at Union cemetery in Dent County, Missouri by his daughter, Mabel.

He married three times. He married Blanch H. Smith in Iowa, 1886.⁽³¹⁸⁾ Blanch was born in New York September 28, 1863.⁽³¹⁹⁾ Blanch was the daughter of Jason Luther Smith and Sophia Pushee. Blanch died July 29, 1918 in St. Louis, Missouri, at 54 years of age.⁽³²⁰⁾ She died at home from Addison's disease.

Her body was interred in Salem, Dent County, Missouri, at Union Cemetery. Her ashes were either spread or buried in the cemetery.

He married Roxie --?-- in St. Louis, Missouri, between 1918 and 1919. Roxie was born in Illinois 1871. He married Anna --?-- in St. Louis, Missouri, before 1930.⁽³²¹⁾ Anna was born in Missouri 1873.⁽³²²⁾

John Monroe Miles and Blanch H. Smith had the following family:

• 152 i. Willed⁶ Miles was born in O'Brien County, Iowa February 23, 1887.⁽³²³⁾ Willed has been difficult to locate. Some family stories say he just ran away. There is one Willet Miles living in Kansas City, Missouri on the 1910 Census that fits with regards to age. But he can't be found after that on other census reports.

• 153 ii. Florence M. Miles was born in Worth County, Iowa April 1888.⁽³²⁴⁾ Florence died August 4, 1951 at 63 years of age. Her body was interred in Salem, Dent County, Missouri, at Union Cemetery. She married three times. She married John P. Alyea in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, December 3, 1903.⁽³²⁵⁾ John was born in Kansas May 17, 1880. John died April 1973 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, at 92 years of age. She married Roy E. Runyan in St. Louis, Missouri, between 1921 and 1930. Roy was born in Illinois 1874. She married --?-- York after 1930.

• 154 iii. Electa I. Miles was born in Winnebago County, Iowa September 29, 1889.⁽³²⁶⁾ Electa died February 1976 in Shawnee Mission, Johnson County, Kansas, at 86 years of age.⁽³²⁷⁾ She married Charles G. Watson in St. Louis, Missouri, January 1912. Charles was born in Lebanon, Laclede County, Missouri June 15, 1887.⁽³²⁸⁾ Charles died 1958 in Perry, Noble County, Oklahoma, at 71 years of age.

• 155 iv. Mabel C. Miles was born in Winnebago County, Iowa March 17, 1891.⁽³²⁹⁾ Mabel died December 1974 in Dent County, Missouri, at 83 years of age.⁽³³⁰⁾ Her body was interred in Salem, Dent County, Missouri, at Union Cemetery. She married Thomas Emory in Missouri, between 1910 and 1920. Thomas was born in Missouri 1890. Thomas was the son of Thomas Emory and Amanda Crevason. His body was interred in Salem, Dent County, Missouri, at Union Cemetery.

62. Ida Josephine⁵ Miles (Elizabeth Caroline⁴ Brown, Daniel³, Major Daniel², Daniel¹) was born in Jefferson County, Missouri May 6, 1869. Ida died April 7, 1950 in Baltimore County, Maryland, at 80 years of age. Her body was interred in Baltimore County, Maryland, at Oak Lawn Cemetery.

She married Herman Jacob Ressler in Bristow, Butler Co, IA, March 23, 1890.⁽³³¹⁾ Herman was born in Shell Rock, Butler County, Iowa February 2, 1867. Herman was the son of John B. Ressler and Nancy Jane Margretz. Herman died November 30, 1960 in Sparrow's Point, Baltimore County, Maryland, at 93 years of age. His body was interred December 3, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland, at Oak Lawn Cemetery.⁽³³²⁾

Ida Josephine Miles and Herman Jacob Ressler had the following family:

• 156 i. Edwin Lee⁶ Ressler was born in Forest City, Winnebago County, Iowa December 8, 1890.⁽³³³⁾ Lee died November 26, 1964 in Los Angeles County, California, at 73 years of age. His body was interred November 30, 1964 in Inglewood, Los Angeles County, California, at Inglewood Park Cemetery. He married Esther M. Swedberg December 11, 1910. Esther was born in Minnesota March 24, 1892. Esther was the daughter of --?-- Swedberg and --?-- Strone. Esther died January 7, 1984 in Bellflower, Los Angeles County, California, at 91 years of age.

• 157 ii. Zelma Ressler was born in Butler County, Iowa July 11, 1898. Zelma died September 23, 1982 in Jackson County, Oregon, at 84 years of age.
  
  She married twice. She married Jacob Haugen in North Dakota, December 15, 1915. Jacob was born in South Dakota February 3, 1891.⁽³³⁴⁾ Jacob was the son of Isaac Haugen and Martha G. --?--. Jacob died November 13, 1926 in Sparrow's Point, Baltimore County, Maryland, at 35 years of age. Jacob fell across the train track at the Bethlehem Steel Mill and was cut into three pieces. His body was interred in Baltimore County, Maryland, at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
  

  She married Clifton Larue Heeter in Baltimore County, Maryland, October 13, 1928. Clifton was born in Pennsylvania December 9, 1905. Clifton died October 2, 1988 in Central Point, Jackson County, Oregon, at 82 years of age.

• 158 iii. Elva Ressler was born in Butler County, Iowa September 23, 1900. Elva died July 19, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, at 61 years of age. She married William Charles Raitt in Bison, Perkins County, South Dakota, February 20, 1917. Elva was listed as a resident of Watrous, Hettinger County, North Dakota. William was listed as a resident of Bentley, Hettinger County, North Dakota.

  William was born in McGregor, Clayton County, Iowa May 11, 1890. William died July 31, 1956 in Baltimore County, Maryland, at 66 years of age.

• 159 iv. Jura Ressler was born in Butler County, Iowa February 10, 1905. Jura died August 8, 1983 in Baltimore County, Maryland, at 78 years of age. Her body was interred August 11, 1983 in Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland, at Bel Air Memorial Gardens. She married Robert Melville Lewis in Baltimore, Maryland, March 4, 1923.

  Robert was born in Baltimore, Maryland March 11, 1900. Robert was the son of Walter Melville Lewis and Lillian May White. Robert died December 17, 1985 in Baltimore County, Maryland, at 85 years of age.

  His body was interred December 20, 1985 in Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland, at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

• 160 v. John Burton Ressler was born in Watrous, Hettinger County, North Dakota February 12, 1908. John died April 26, 1912 in Watrous, Hettinger County, North Dakota, at 4 years of age.
